Mhondoro Marauders was live-launched in Mbare, Harare, on the 21st of October 2023 at Mbare Art Space. The launch was graced by two original commissions of work from Thandiwe Gula-Ndebele and Thando Mlambo, and a collaboration between Thandiwe, Thando and Thandi Loewenson.

On this page, is an original video work by Thandiwe Gula-Ndebele and clips from the DJ set and sonic piece produced in Mbare on the night of the 21st by Thando Mlambo. These works were produced out of a creative dialogue with the Mhondoro Marauders Show — rehearsal for a mixtape — held by email, zoom, whatsapp and instagram DM over a week in October 23, documented and to be continued here.
